Our puzzles are a labour of love where our sommelier and illustrator work hand-in-hand; mostly via video-call, which isn’t aways easy as we all know!

Step by step, geography, history and wine knowledge are layered on to the map. Beautiful artistic illustrations bring all these elements to life and are also meant to tickle your visual memory.

Rather than providing encyclopaedic knowledge, our goal is to make you curious and eager to learn more so we have carefully chosen the most important information a wine lover might want to start with.

Finally, because we love a challenging and satisfying puzzle, we look at each piece one by one to make sure no two pieces are alike. For each design, we pour our hearts into making beautiful and informative puzzles that will stimulate your senses (and make you hooked on puzzles for life!).

Step one is deciding how to build the wine map. Given the predetermined size of our 1000 piece puzzles, space is limited. We focus on the details that we feel will be of most interest to every wine lover, aiming at encouraging your thirst for knowledge.

We also select extra information to be included at the back of the box as well as inside the lids, so you’ll get as much wine knowledge as possible! We review all the elements together with our expert sommeliers as well as get input from local colleagues. We debate, bounce off ideas and often have to make tough choices to make every single map the best one yet.

The world of wine may be ancient but it has lately been evolving at great speed due to climate change, progress towards more sustainability and the introduction of new techniques. We will make sure to reflect these changes as time goes -for instance, we recently added a boat on the French puzzle, sailing towards Bordeaux with grapes on board, after 6 new grape varieties were approved in 2021 to help tackle climate change.

We aim to create works of art that inspire you and bring you many hours of enjoyment. Our puzzles are meant to be beautiful to look at and a joy to build. They should be stimulating and satisfying, rich with beautiful drawings and playful details. We play with colour and scale to challenge your visual mind as you build the puzzle. No dull or blank pieces in our world!

The delicately hand drawn elements bring to life each region so you travel down its windy roads, learn about its history, its landmarks, discover its flora and fauna, and obviously, its grapes! Did you for instance know that many Californian vineyards are turning to falcons to change the behaviour of local grape-eating birds? Look for the falcon on the Californian puzzle, and for many more interesting facts hidden in the design.

The box design has also been thought through to make our puzzles into beautiful interior objects as well as maximise educational content. Beauty and brains in a mindful game.

We are proudly female-led and committed to giving back as we grow. For every item sold we will plant one tree and make a donation to improve global access to safe drinking water.

All the materials used are recyclable and sourced locally. All our puzzles are made in the EU, in compliance with the toughest environmental standards.

We are also working with our partners to continuously improve the sustainability of our products and reduce our carbon footprint.
